What's New at The Inky Paw? |
Meet the Staff! Cricket--Personnel Manager & Director of Canine Resources "My primary duty is to hire and train new employees! And occasionally I have to bark the words "You're Fired!" A fancy resume isn't everything. No matter where you come from, or what your background is, you can succeed with hard work and enthusiasm!" |

In Loving Memory of Munchie 1992 - 2007 Senior Executive / C.E.O. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Munchie (aka Munch Bear). Munchie started at the bottom, as a greeter in our Orlando, Florida store. His friendly manner and leadership abilities took him straight to the top! One of his favorite quotes: "Hard work never hurt anybody, but try telling that to some of the younger employees!!" We adopted Munchie in 1994, and he was a great dog from day one. |

In Loving Memory of Alfie 199? - 2007 Shipping & Packing Assistant It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alfie (aka Ralph) Alfie came to us about 2002. His owner died, after which the relatives promptly deposited him at the local shelter in North Carolina. Then Alfie got quarantined at the shelter during an outbreak of Parvo. Luckily for him and for us, he got out alive, and made his way down to Georgia! Alfie was a beloved member of the household, a wonderful staff member, and will be sorely missed by all! |
Meet the Staff! Here's Abby -- Intern "I haven't been here long. They say I need to work on my concentration. So far, that's really hard to do but I'll keep trying. Wish me luck" |
Meet the Staff! Here's Charlie--our Webmaster "I'm the go-to guy for adding stuff to the web site. When I'm not busy working I like to surf the net, sleep, and basically just relax. I get to set my own hours and work my own schedule. Guess there's some advantage to being tech savvy!" |

In Loving Memory of Beethoven 1996 - 2009 Shipping & Packing Assistant It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Beethoven. Beethoven came to us in 1996 from Orange County Animal Control in Orlando, Florida. He was a very sad dog at the time; his owners had moved, but left him tied to the porch, and his harness had cut into his shoulders. However, being a young, strong dog he recuperated quickly. He became a a much loved member of our family, and an excellent employee. He will always be in our hearts. |

In Loving Memory of Teddie 2000 - 2009 Webmaster It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Teddie. Teddie came to us in 2003 from Macon Georgia Animal Control. He had been adopted at Pet Smart on a Saturday, but was returned to Animal Control the following Monday when the new owner discovered that he had bad eyes and might need surgery. We eventually had to remove his eye, but he did just fine without it. Teddie was a very self-confidant and independent dog. He didn't care to have much to do with the other staff members, preferring to work and relax on his own schedule. We basically let him do what he pleased. Heart disease took him away too soon, but we will love him forever. |
And Now, Bring Out the Tissues . . . |
I explained to St. Peter, I'd rather stay here, Outside the pearly gate. I won't be a nuisance. I won't even bark. I'll be very patient and wait. I'll be here chewing, on a celestial bone. No matter how long you may be. I'd miss you so much, if I went in alone. It wouldn't be heaven for me. . . . author unknown . . . |
Meet the Staff! Toby Shipping and Packing Supervisor "I take great care and pride in making sure your packages arrive safe and sound. My job security depends upon it!" "I worked my way up and finally got this full time position with benefits!. Hard work paid off for me!" |
